What an Eye is

My name is Kenny and I am an Eye. I am a man standing a little over six feet. I have short brown hair and black eyes. I am skinny but not very muscular. I spend my day doing things for the Commander I am assigned to and at the same time keeping an eye on the day to day activities of the Handmaid, watching and waiting for a mistake, like a predatory cat waiting to pounce Other then work I spend my very little free time trying to rest. I have many sleepless nights with the same reocurring dream of being alone and without an companionship for the rest of my life. The fear is crushing and at the same time liberating. I know having fear means I am free enough to have my own emotions. Yet I am destined to be part of the system that is built to keep those who would desire freedom down.
